New Orleans, LA—The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Association has recognized 13 NGU Track and Field Athletes as Indoor All-Region performers.
The honorees were from both the men's and women's teams as each team earned a trip to the NCAA Indoor Track & Field National Championships, following third place finishes at the Conference Carolinas Championships last weekend.
Men's Award Winners:
4x400 Team: Trae Bonner, Kenneth Johnson III, Jordan Walters, and Jonathan Williams
Distance Medley Relay: Ben Sessions, Jonathan Williams, Andrew Hill, and Stanley Limoh
3000-Meter Run: Stanley Limoh
Mile Run: Stanley Limoh
Triple Jump: Terry Davis
Long Jump: Terry Davis
Shot Put: Kreig Lowe
Women's Award Winners:
4x400 Team: Ambria Shaw, Leah Austin, Georgia Delts, and Shekinah Wilder
Long Jump: Shekinah Wilder
Triple Jump: Shekinah Wilder
Pole Vault: Megan Goodson
The top five individuals in each event from each region earned the All-Region distinction; in addition to each of the members of the regions' top three relay teams. The regions used for this award match those used during the cross-country season. There were 533, nationwide winners for the women and 555 winners for the men.
The Crusaders will take part in the NCAA Indoor Championships Championships on March 12th at Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg Kansas.
