North Greenville's Davis Named Conference Carolinas Men's Track & Field Athlete of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C. - Barton College's Semaj Street and North Greenville University's Terry Davis have been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Track & Field Athletes of the Week, respectively, the conference announced today.

Street, a junior Fayetteville, N.C., had an impressive showing at the Ken Taylor Invitational, lowering his NCAA provisional time and breaking his school record in the 60m dash with a time of 6.86 seconds. He would be the only Division II runner to make the final after finish fourth in the prelims and finishing seventh overall with a time of 6.99 in the final. Street would also pickup a third-place finish in the 200m dash with a time of 22.54 seconds.

A junior from Columbia, S.C., Davis had a solid weekend for the Crusaders, picking up a pair of top three finishes at the UCS Invitational. He would finish first in the long jump with a score of 7.12m and would follow that up with a third-place finish in the triple jump with a score of 15.13m
