Spartanburg, S.C. - The North Greenville Crusaders would put in a strong showing at the Terrier Relays on Saturday.
On the men's side of the event Devin Wannamaker would have a second place finish in the 110m hurdles (14.54), and a fourth place finish in the 400m hurdles (56.02). Fellow teammate Jordan Sumpter would also have a second place finish in the 400m dash (49.01), while fellow Crusader Tre' Black would finish eighth in the event (49.94). The men's 4x400 relay team would bring home a first place finish (3:20.25). Competing in this event would be Tre' Black, Trae Bonner, Ravon Wamer, and Jonathan Williams. The Men's 4x800 relay would finish fourth (8:10.31), and competing in this would be Tre' Black, Jordan Ferguson, Andrew Hill, and Ravon Wamer. On the women's side Leah Austin would bring home a tenth place finish in the 400m dash (1:00.9). Fellow teammate Anel Miranda-Smith would also place tenth in the 400m hurdles (1:07.82).
On the field side of the event Terry Davis would have the strongest showing from both men and women. Davis would finish first in the long jump (7.16m), and a second place finish in the triple jump (14.47m). Fellow Crusader Michael Fowler would have a third place finish in the pole vault event (4.10m). Kreig Lowe would finish the men's side of the field events with a fourth place finish in the shot put (13.96m). On the women's side Megan Goodson would have a fifth place finish in the pole vault (3.20m). Fellow teammate Shiobhan Fraser would have a fifth place finish in the high jump (1.55m), and a seventh place finish in the triple jump (10.65m).
Your Crusaders track teams will be competing next week April 11 at Southern Wesleyan University.
