Spartanburg, SC – In the second outdoor meet of the season, North Greenville University traveled to Wofford College to compete in the Terrier Relays.
On the men’s side, sophomore Devin Wannamaker set the school record in the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 15.62, while finishing 4th overall in the 100 meter dash with a time of 11.10 in the race.
Fellow sophomore Kreig Lowe put together a strong performance in the field, setting a school record in the hammer throw with a distance of 40.96 for a 6th place finish, while finishing 7th overall in the discus throw with a distance of 39.10 meters.
For the women, three freshmen shined on the track beginning with Zoe Engwall setting a school record in the 1500 meter run with a 10th place finish and a time of 5:08.77. Finishing just one spot behind, Monae Boyles was clocked at 5:09.65 with Amanda Ward turning in a time of 5:12.45 for a 16th place finish.
The Crusaders will travel to Columbia, SC on Wednesday, April 9 to compete in the Gamecock Outdoor Invitational on the campus of the University of South Carolina.
