Clemson, SC – The North Greenville University track and field teams competed in their third meet of the season, posting several school and personal records for both the men and women.
For the women, senior Morgan Buchanon set a school record in the one-mile run, completing the race in 5:53.23, while junior Corrine Schmidt set a personal best with a time of 6:00.21 and a second place finish. Freshman Monae Boyles set a school record in the 3000 meter run, finishing fourth overall with a time of 11:32.38 as Schmidt recorded another personal best with a time of 11:47.81 in the race.
The men also set school records of their own, beginning with freshman Terry Davis setting a record in the triple jump with a distance of 14.19m (46’ 6.75”) and a seventh place finish, while junior Brett Morley set a school-record with a time of 15:14.43 in the 5000 meter run.
The Crusaders will compete again on Feb. 14-15 in the UCS Invitational in Winston-Salem, NC.
