Tigerville, S.C.—The North Greenville men's and women's tennis teams dropped a pair of games to Francis Marion on Saturday as the Patriots earned a pair of 8-1 wins over the Crusaders.
Both of NGU's wins came in double's competition as Camille Duhan and Christina Kiessling bested their Patriot counterparts 8-5 while Sjors van Eck and Alejandro de la Torre took care of business on the men's side with an 8-6 win.
The Patriots swept NGU in the singles portion of the day, securing the non-conference with a 6-0/6-1 win on the women's side and a 5-7/6-4/10-5 win on the men's side.
Both teams fell to 0-1 in 2016 after Saturday's loss. The Crusaders will travel to Spartanburg, S.C. to take on Wofford College on February 18th at 2:30pm.
