Mobile, Ala. – After winning six National Christian Collegiate Athletic Association national titles from 2000-2010, the North Greenville University men’s tennis team will begin its quest for yet another Tuesday – Thursday in Mobile, Alabama.
The NCCAA National Tournament is being held at the Mobile Copeland-Cox Tennis Center and is hosted by the Mobile Bay Convention & Visitors Bureau, the City of Mobile, Mobile County, and Cedarville University.
NGU, which has an overall record of 13-5, begins play Tuesday in Pool A, which includes Olivet Nazarene (Bourbonnais, IL), Spring Arbor University (Spring Arbor, Michigan) and Central Christian College (McPherson, KS). Coach Mark Elliot’s team will open against Spring Arbor at 9:00 a.m. and then will take on Central Christian at 2:00 p.m. The Crusaders will conclude pool play at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday vs. Olivet Nazarene. If they finish first or second in their pool, they will advance to the semi-finals Wednesday at 2:00 p.m.
The national championship match will be held at 9:00 a.m. Thursday.
