Men's Tennis Dominates in Spartanburg

The men started off their weekend right with not only their first win of the season but a solid one at that. All six players defeated their opponents to achieve a 9-0 victory for North Greenville.

NGU’s token Uzbek, Timur Kamilou, had a very close match against Sophomore Christian Ranguelov – a very good player, who was not defeated by the Crusaders last year.  Kamilou won 6-3 in the third.

“Over all, they played extremely well. They’ve been playing well all season, but have been playing some very tough teams and were able to walk away with a win today,” said Coach Mark Elliot.

The men are back in Greer, SC tomorrow, Feb. 14, for their next home match against Lander University.
