Men's tennis denied 8th consecutive championship

MARION, IN--North Greenville University's bid for an eighth consecutive NCCAA National Championship was denied Wednesday as the Crusaders fell 5-0 in the semifinals to Hope International.

Earlier in the day, North Greenville lost to Olivet Nazarene 5-0 in the last match of Pool B play.

In Pool A, Hope International defeated Spring Arbor 5-3 to advance to the semifinals, while Dallas Baptist downed host Indiana Wesleyan 5-0 to advance.

In the other semifinial match, Dallas Baptist defeated Olivet Nazzarene 5-1.

Hope International and Dallas Baptist will play for the championship Thursday at 9:00 a.m.
