Crusaders Fall in Overtime to Limestone

Gaffney, S.C. – The North Greenville Crusaders travelled to Gaffney to take on the Saints of Limestone College. An overtime period would be required, but the Saints would score the only goal of the game in the eighth minute.

The Basics

 How it Happened

  • North Greenville's only shot of the first half came from Ope Olaloko in the 38th minute.
  • Limestone's offense came to life in the second half, but James Max Miller's nine saves kept the game scoreless in regulation.
  • NGU would record two shots on goal in overtime, but both were saved.
  • After a foul on the Crusaders, a free kick resulted in the winning goal for the Saints.
