North Greenville lost its Conference Carolinas and regular season finale to the Barton Bulldogs by a final score of 5-1.
After a tough 40 minutes where neither team could get anything going, Barton's Jovan Gracia got the scoring started when he put a shot past Crusader keeper Mateo Barzola. This would be the only goal of the half, but the excitement was just getting started.
North Greenville leveled the score in the 55th minute when Andre Cakar was able to put one out of the reach of Bulldog goalie Jens Madsen Hordvik to make the score 1-1. Barton would strike next in the 63rd minute when Oscar Avila scored off a corner kick to make the score 2-1. Just two minutes later, Barton scored again as Tolly Beatson beat Barzola for the third goal of the game.
The Bulldogs would ice the game in the closing minutes with two more goals. Rodrigo Neves scored in the 72nd minute and finally Michael Barrell gave the Bulldogs their fifth goal.
Barzola spent 72:42 in goal, making four saves while allowing four goals. James Max Miller spent the final 17:18 in goal but did not record a save. Cakar's goal was his sixth of the season.
