Gfeller Signs Three New Faces For Men's Soccer
Tigerville, SC – Looking to replace key starters on both offense and defense, North Greenville University men’s soccer head coach Chad Gfeller has announced the signing of three incoming freshman to the Crusader squad.

Chris Inman – Midfielder – Harrisburg, NC – Hickory Ridge HS

Inman is a decorated recruit for Gfeller, having twice been named All-Conference, All-Region and Team Most Valuable Player. As a senior, he was selected as the team’s Offense Player of the year after scoring 14 goals and totaling eight assists. Upon conclusion of his senior season, Inman was selected to play for the South Region of North Carolina in the Powerade State Games.

Gfeller on Inman… “Chris Inman is an outstanding midfielder and he brings tremendous potential to our program both on and off of the field.”

James Miller – Defender – Harrisburg, NC – Hickory Ridge HS

Miller, a teammate of the above mentioned Inman, had one of the most successful senior seasons in all of North Carolina. The defender was selected as the All-Conference and All-Region Player of the Year after totaling four goals and an outstanding 23 assists from the back line. Miller was also selected as a member of the North Carolina All-State Team.

Gfeller on Miller… “With the loss of three starters on the defensive side of the ball, James is an excellent defender and will be a key part in stabilizing our defense.”

Evan Mills – Midfielder/Defender – Lexington, SC – Lexington HS

Mills is an athletic player who brings a tremendous skill set to the Crusaders and the ability to play multiple positions. In addition to his high school, Mills also competed for South Carolina United FC ’95 Elite and South Carolina ODP ’95 Boys on the field.

Gfeller on Mills… “Evan has the ability to give our squad great strength in the middle of the field next season. He plays simple, smart and quick and he fits in well with our team’s style of play.”
