Crusaders Continue Dominance In Conference Play
Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville men's soccer team continued its Conference Carolinas' winning streak with its fifth straight win against conference competition, this time a 1-0 victory over Queens University in Pepsi Stadium.

The lone goal of the game was scored in the 14 minute when senior forward Luis Mattei scored his third goal of the season on an assist from freshman Shomari Bridgewater to give the Crusaders a 1-0 advantage that lasted until the final whistle. 

The North Greenville defense and senior goalkeeper Justen Braddock held the highest scoring team in Conference Carolinas to just six shots on the night. With two saves in the game, Braddock surpassed the 200 career saves mark and now stands at 201 career saves in 53 games.

North Greenville (6-5-1, 5-3 in conference) will put their winning streak on the line as they travel to Hartsville, SC on Wednesday, Oct. 17 to take on Coker College at 7 p.m.
