Crusaders Handed Second Straight Loss

Tigerville, SC – In their first Conference Carolinas match of 2012, the North Greenville University men’s soccer team dropped 2-0 decision to Lees McRae College on Saturday afternoon.
The Bobcats got on the board first in the 32nd minute when James Galvini scored on an assist from James Smith to give Lees McRae a 1-0 lead at the half.


Smith scored a goal of his own in the 47th minute to make the final score 2-0 in favor of the Bobcats.

Lees McRae recorded 17 shots in the game compare to just 11 by the Crusaders as North Greenville goalkeeper Justen Braddock totaled six saves on the day.

North Greenville (1-2-1) will begin a three-game road trip on Tuesday, Sept. 18 as they travel to Due West, SC for a Conference Carolinas matchup with Erskine College at 7:30 p.m.
