Men's Soccer Closer To Playoffs With Win Over Mount Olive

Tigerville, SC – The North Greenville men’s soccer team won its second game in a row after defeating Mount Olive College 1-0 on Saturday afternoon in Pepsi Stadium.


The Crusaders lone goal came in the 39th minute of play as Jonathan Restrepo scored an unassisted goal, his third of the season.


North Greenville outshot Mount Olive 14-10 in the game as keepers Justen Braddock (1) and Nick Williams (1) combined for two saves.


The Crusaders (8-6, 6-4 in conference will take to the road for their final game of 2011 with a conference playoff spot of the line. North Greenville will head to Misenheimer, NC on Tuesday, Oct. 25 to play against conference foe Pfieffer College at 3 p.m.
