Atlanta, GA –

Having lost two games in a row, the North Greenville men’s soccer team was looking to right the ship against Palm Beach Atlantic University but fell to the Sailfish 2-0.

“Overall we played a good game,” said head coach Chad Gfeller. “The guys did a good job of staying organized, but we just couldn’t capitalize on our early opportunities.”

The Crusaders and Sailfish were evenly matched throughout the first half as the teams went into the break tied 0-0.

However, Palm Beach Atlantic would score goals in the 60th and 70th minutes to seal the victory in Silverbacks Park.

“I’m looking forward to the next few weeks as we continue to prepare for the regional tournament,” said Gfeller.

The Crusaders will try to end the season on a high note when they play their final game of the regular season against King College on Saturday, Nov. 6 in Pepsi Stadium. The game, which will be dedicated as “Senior Day” is set to kick off at 2 p.m.
