CRUSADERS KNOCKED OUT OF POST SEASON WITH 3-0 LOSS

Franklin Springs, Ga.—The North Greenville men’s soccer team fell in the first round of the NCCAA Regional tournament 3-0 to local rival Southern Wesleyan University.

The Crusaders finish the season with a 9-8 record. On the season, Jonathan Restrepo lead the team with 12 goals. Max Duarte was the team leader with 7 assists. Combined the Crusaders scored 48 goals on 29 assists. Goal Keeper Justin Braddock racked up 37 saves on the season and Nick Williams posted 25 saves.
“It was a good season for us” said head coach Chad Gfeller, “it didn’t end the way we wanted it to for sure but I think we have learned a lot and are going to start working toward next year.”
