CRUSADERS WEATHER TORNADOES

Tigerville, S.C.—
Today the North Greenville Men’s soccer team took on the Tornadoes of Brevard College out of North Carolina. The Crusaders (6-6-1) would go on to beat the Tornadoes (1-16) 3-0 in the 90 minute afternoon match.

The Crusaders took the lead early in the game when Juan Carlos Aguilera found the back of the net in the 8th minute with an assist from Seth Snyder. North Greenville took the one goal lead into halftime added the second goal one minute into the second period as Jonathan Restrepo scored on an assist from Chandler Patterson (46th minute).  The Crusaders added an insurance goal in the 89th minute of the game after Juan Carlos Aguilera added the third goal of the day and his second. “Im very happy with the team today” said head coach Chad Gfeller, “we came out strong and played a complete game.”
North Greenville’s next game will be October 31st at 4pm against Virginia Intermont in Tigerville.
