NGU MEN'S SOCCER SIGNS FIVE QUALITY PLAYERS

The North Greenville University men’s soccer team has signed five student athletes for the Fall 2009 season according to Head Coach Chad Gfeller.

Justen Braddock (Columbia, SC) , Ben Bosco (Columbia, SC) , Zach Brownfield (Atlanta, GA), Devon Dorn (Greenville, SC), and Marcus Krall (Dublin, OH) have all signed National Letter of Intent to join the NGU Crusaders program, which will look to improve on its 2008 National Christian Collegiate Athletic Assocation (NCCA) semi-final appearance.
“These young men bring a tremendous amount of talent and versatility to our program, and they will be instrumental in improving our depth, while helping us fortifying a few gaps left on our backline for the 2009 season,” Gfeller said.   “Braddock will look to challenge our present goalkeepers, Nick Williams and Chad Zerfoss, while Ben Bosco, Zach Brownfield, and Marcus Krall will look to fill vacated positions in the defense and midfield.   Dorn will challenge right away to play on either in our midfield or up front.  He’ll give us more strength to an already experienced and versatile attack.”
Gfeller went on to note,  “we are excited about the high level of quality athletes joining our program for the upcoming season,”  Not only have these five young men competed at the highest level of club soccer for their respective teams, but they all have shown character and leadership that I believe will shape them into successful collegiate athletes.”
