NGU MEN'S SOCCER CONCLUDES HOME SCHEDULE DROPPING 2-1 DECISION TO ERSKINE

Junior Max Duarte (Porto Alegre, Brazil) scored the lone goal for the NGU men’s soccer team with 15 minutes to play in the second half, but the Crusaders could not come back as Erskine scored 2 goals in the first half in a 2-1 win over NGU at Pepsi Stadium.

The Crusaders played their final home contest of the 2008 season and are now 4-8 overall.  NGU and head coach Chad Gfeller will conclude its schedule with three road games at Tennessee Temple Oct. 25, Brevard Oct. 28 and Emmanuel (GA) Nov. 1

Duarte scored his third goal on the year and trails teammate Seth Snyder (JR Fountain Inn, SC) by one goal for the team lead.
