Crusaders net first win 12-0 over USC-Salkehatchie

TIGERVILLE, SC--North Greenville University exploded for 12 goals as the Crusaders won their first match of the season, a 12-0 win over USC-Salkehatchie.

Danny Cobb opened up the scoring in the 14th minute, while Juan Carlos Aguilera added the only other first half goal at the 36:00 mark on a free kick.

The Crusaders scored four goals within ten minutes early in the second half. Max Duarte scored at 49:00. One minute later, Seth Snyder scored on a reflection. Gabriel Altmayer gave the assist.

Duarte struck again in the 53rd minute on a penalty kick. Cobb netted his second goal of the day on a breakaway at the 58:00 mark to put NGU up 6-0.

Aguilera, Trey Woody, Evan Johnson, Kyle Walden, Tyler Corn, and Marc Reilley all added goals late in the game.
