Reilley pulls a hat trick in Crusader win

The North Greenville men's soccer team shut-out visiting Tri-County Tech 5-0 at Pepsi Field. Marc Reilley led the Crusaders by pulling off a hat trick. He scored three goals within an 11 minute span in the first half for the first ever hat trick in school history. Jay Watterworth and Chris Blalock added goals for the Crusaders.

Tri-County threatened early with the score tied 0-0, but Goalkeeper Cody Gray smothered a one-on-one that could have given Tri-County a lead. Coach Chad Gfeller was pleased with the performance of hte team. "The team did a great job of controlling the pace of the game and possession of the ball," said Gfeller.

The Crusaders will be in action this week at Erskine College on Wednesday, and then Saturday at Pepsi Field versus Limestone. Both days will feature a doubleheader with the women's team playing first.
