Men's Soccer loses close one to PC
Saturday, September 3, 2005

CLINTON, S.C. – Presbyterian College junior Siega Disasa (Laurens, SC)
scored his first collegiate goal in the 65th minute and it proved to be the
game winner as the Blue Hose picked up a 3-2 victory over North Greenville
College in men’s soccer action Friday night at Martin Stadium.

PC looked to take control of the game early as Trent Weber (Lawrenceville,
GA) put one past North Greenville goalkeeper Jim Burton (Atlanta, GA) in the
second minute.

The Crusaders fought back, however, as Danny Cobb (Greer, SC) took a pass
from Chris Hecke (Sao Paulo, Brazil) and knocked it past PC goalkeeper
Diarmuid McGuigan (Derry, Northern Ireland) to tie it up.

PC retook the lead briefly on Stephen Bentley’s (Stone Mountain, GA) goal in
the 40th minute before North Greenville tied it back up two minutes later on
a score by Marc Reilley (Hilton Head, SC).

North Greenville will be in action Monday against Anderson College at 5:00 p.m. at Pepsi Field.
