Tigerville, S.C. – Head men’s lacrosse coach Corey Struss has tabbed Dan Ferrel the newest assistant coach for the North Greenville Crusaders.

Ferrel comes to Tigerville with a great deal of coaching experience including his current position with the True Lacrosse National Team as an assistant coach. Before his stint with the national team, Ferrel worked with True Lacrosse in Illinois where he served as the team’s defensive coordinator.

Previous stops on his coaching resume include assistant coaching spots with new River Valley Lacrosse Club (2016) and the U-13 Lexington Lacrosse team the previous season. As a player, Ferrel helped lead Culver Military Academy to the North American Lacrosse Invitational Championship as the #1 high school program in the country and continued his playing career at Virginia Military Institute where he graduated 2017 with a dual major in Philosophy and History.

At North Greenville, Dan Ferrel will assume his responsibilities as defensive coordinator for the Crusaders. He will also double as the program’s Coordinator for Academic Success and take over as the men’s lacrosse recruiting coordinator.
