Bryce Sneed hired on as Graduate Assistant for Men's Lacrosse

Tigerville, S.C. – Head lacrosse coach Corey Struss added another piece to the coaching puzzle this week as he brings on Bryce Sneed as the program’s newest graduate assistant.

Sneed, a graduate of Wingate University, carved his name into the program record books as a faceoff specialist for the Bulldogs. In his four years with the program, Sneed set the school record in several categories including most faceoffs won in a season, most faceoffs won in a single game, and best faceoff percentage in a single game.

During his senior campaign, Bryce Sneed ranked fifth in NCAA Division II faceoff percentage, winning 65-percent of his attempts. The team captain also ranked third in the country in average groundballs with 117 on the season and was named 2nd team All-Conference in the South Atlantic Conference.

Sneed entered the coaching ranks out of college, assisting with Apex High School men’s lacrosse team. He helped lead the Cougars to a state championship in 2015 and 2016, leading the squad to a 70% faceoff percentage.

Bryce Sneed graduated from Wingate University in 2014 with a Bachelors Degree in Sport Management.
