Tigerville, S.C.—North Greenville fell behind early and never recovered as the 11th Ranked Pfeiffer Falcons earned a 21-5 win over the Crusaders.
North Greenville got its first goal of the game with two second remaining in the first period as Drew Wassenaar's 22nd goal of the season cut the Pfeiffer lead to 5-1. Wassenaar's goal would be all NGU would get in the first half as the Falcons cruised to a 13-1 lead at the half.
North Greenville would fall behind even further as the Falcons continued to score down the stretch. NGU finally found its second goal of the game with 4:07 lef in the third quarter as Wassenaar found the back of the net for the second time to make the score 20-2.
The Crusaders would score three more in the fourth quarter as Dieter Treusdell, Ethan Gray, and Michael Raimond would find a goal each. Gray and Treusdell would assist each other while Raimond would score without an assist. The Falcons would score their final goal of the game at the 12:34 mark.
North Greenville fell to 1-12 on the season and 1-3 In Conference Carolinas play. NGU will host Belmont Abbey in its final home game of the season on April 18th at 1pm.
