NORTH GREENVILLE FALLS SHORT TO YOUNG HARRIS COLLEGE

Tigerville, S.C. - The North Greenville Crusaders would come up short against Young Harris College Mountain Lions 12-5 here on the North Greenville campus.

The Mountain Lions would jump out on the offensive attack as the opening whistle was blown. It would take 56 seconds for them to score the first goal of the game. Young Harris would be on the attack the entire first period scoring all six goals of the period. It was 3:26 into the second period that North Greenville would strike for their first goal scored by David Finney on a pass from Drew Warren. It would be a short 1:36 amount of time before Finney would score his second goal of the game this time the assist coming from Ethan Gray. These two goals would bring the score to 6-2 in favor of the Mountain Lions. Young Harris would add just one more goal before half taking the score 7-2 into the halftime break.

Leading the second half off just 11 seconds in the Mountain Lions would score a goal. The scoring would then be kept to a minimum for both teams in the third period. It was with 4:09 left in the period when Ethan Gray would score on an assist by Josh Dolewski. Just 1:18 later in the period Drew Wassenaar would score for your Crusaders unassisted. Young Harris would add four more goals in the fourth period bringing the score to 12-4 in favor of the Mountain Lions. With 53 seconds left Zachary Randolph would turn a Young Harris turnover into an unassisted goal bringing the final score to 12-5.
