Greenville – North Greenville men’s golf wrapped up another week of play, charting a 10th place finish at the Southern Tide Classic, hosted by Limestone College and Green Valley Country Club.
As a team, the Crusaders finished with a total score of 888, 47 strokes behind tournament champion Lincoln Memorial. Carson Newman earned the second place finish tied with Coker College. Limestone took home fourth place while Queens rounded out the top five teams.
North Greenville was led by Austin Duncan who finished with a three-round total of 212. He carded rounds of 74, 71, and wrapped up the tournament with a team-low 67 on Tuesday afternoon. He finished at minus two for the tournament and was 10 – strokes off the lead. Duncan finished the week in sixth place.
Seth Robertson turned the only other top 25 finish for the Crusaders as he wrapped up the three-round contest in 22nd. Robertson opened the tournament with a 71 and carded a 72 and a 75 for a total of 218. Seth Evans was a stroke behind Robertson with a 219 (75, 70, 74) to finish in 26th.
Josiah Ledford finished with a round of 79 and two rounds with a score of 80 for a tournament total 239 (71st) while Matthew Campbell finished with a total of 240 after shooting 79, 80, and 81 (72nd).
North Greenville will host the NGU Men’s Invitational on March 18th at Columbia Country Club in Blythewood, South Carolina.
