Greenville, S.C. – North Greenville men’s golf wrapped up its third tournament of the season on Tuesday with an 11th place finish at the Southern Tide Classic hosted by Limestone College.
The Crusaders had just one player shoot an under-par round this week, by Seth Robertson. Robertson led the Crusaders with a 15th place finish. He shot a 74, 72, 79 for a three-day total of 225. Robertson’s 72 was the lowest round of the 54-hole tournament for the Crusaders.
NGU’s next best finisher was a 43rd place finish by Evan Gfeller. Gfeller finished the tournament with rounds of 75,79 and 80. His three-round total for the week was 234. Christian Constance finished the week in 50th place. Constance opened the tournament with an 84 but improved each time out, carding a 78 in round two and a 74 in the final round. His three-round total was 236.
Christian Dibert and Cole Hargett rounded out NGU’s qualifiers with a 62nd and 73rd place finish. Dibert carded an 83, 79, and an 81 while Hargett finished with an 86, 82, and an 89 to round out the week at Green Valley Country Club.
The Crusaders will be in action again on March 19th when they host the Cherokee Valley Invitational down the road at Cherokee Valley Country Club.
