Carrolton, GA—The North Greenville Men's Golf team turned in a top five finish at the Matt Dyas Invitational on Tuesday with a fourth place showing.
The Crusaders finished behind West Georgia who took the poll position, Delta State, and Young Harris College. NGU turned in their best overall team performance of the fall, in some of the worst conditions. Christian Constance and Chase Fisher led the Crusaders in rainy and cold conditions. Both Fisher and Constance shot identical rounds on Monday and Tuesday with a 73 and a 74 to finish with a match total of 147, good enough for tenth place.
Seth Robertson turned in NGU's next best round as he finished in 17th place. The freshman put together two rounds of 75, finishing with a two-day total of 150. Mac Bradley finished with a 153 for the tournament while Evan Gfeller was six strokes behind, shooting a 169.
The fourth place finish at the Oak Mountain Championship Golf Course is the second best finish of the fall for NGU Men's Golf as the team took a second place ranking at the King Invitational in late September.
