Browns Summit, N.C. – After two rounds of play, the North Greenville men’s and women’s golf teams sit in sixth and ninth place at the Conference Carolinas Championships being held at Bryan Park Champions Course.

Evan Gfeller is leading the way for for the North Greenville Men as he sits at 149 after the first two rounds. Gfeller opened the tournament with a 76 and improved three-strokes on Monday afternoon. Gfeller currently sits in 10th place while the leader is sitting at seven under.

Other men’s scores include Christian Constance who is in 16th with a 151 (77/74), Chase Fisher who is one spot behind with a two round total of 152 (74/78) and Viajy Mishra who is tied in the 17th spot with Fisher after shooting a 152 (76/76). Seth Robertson is currently in 27th with a 155 (78/77).

The women’s team is led by Ashlynn Mullis who is putting together one of her best rounds as a Crusader. Mullis is currently in a tie for 22nd place after putting together rounds of 88 and 76 for a two round total of 164.

Morgan Reece is currently in 27th for the Crusaders after shooting a 168 (86/82) while Meghan Heald resides in 30th with a 171 (85/86). Sarah Dutton Is in a tie for 41st after a two round total of 186 (92/94) while Ansley Brock sits in 43rd with a score of 192 (94/98).

The final round will begin Tuesday morning in Browns Summit, North Carolina.
