Old Hickory, TN. - The NGU Men's Golf Team wrapped up its final tune-up for the post season on Tuesday afternoon with a fourth place finish at the TSU Big Blue Intercollegiate, hosted by Division I Tennessee State University.
The Crusaders finished ahead of several NCAA Division I teams with the fourth place finish, including Tennessee State, Wisconsin-Green Bay, and Morehead State University.
Sophomore Christian Constance led the way for North Greenville with an eight-place finish after three rounds of golf, including a 36-hole Monday. Constance put together two rounds under par after a 68 in round two and a 71 in Tuesday's final round. Constance finished with a three-day total of 212, 11 strokes off the first place finisher.
Chase Fisher earned NGU's only other top 25 finish after coming in, in the 21st spot. Fisher shot a 69 in round one to lead NGU but fell off the lead after the second round posting a 76. A round three total of 71 finished him with a 216 total.
The Crusaders paired two top 35 finishes with Tucker MacDonald who finished in 30th with a 219 and Evan Gfeller who holed out in 35th with a 221. Sam Goodnight finished the week in the 43rd spot with a 224 three-day total.
