Etowah, NC – Sophomore Adam Black continued his recent success with an eighth place finish as the North Greenville University men’s golf team struggled as a whole in the Aramark Collegiate Invitational.
Walters State Junior College was named team champion after composing a two-day total of 298-304-602. Pfeiffer University (621), Brevard College (622), Lenoir Rhyne University (626) and Tri-County Technical College (627) rounded out the Top 5 in the team standing. North Greenville struggled to a sixth place finish overall with a two-round score of 325-324-649.
Black was the Crusaders’ top finisher, tying for eighth overall with a score of 76-77-153. Tucker MacDonald finished in a tie for 24th with a two-day total of 80-83-163.
North Greenville’s season will come to an end on April 21-24 when they compete in their first ever Conference Carolinas Tournament in Vass, NC.
