MEN'S GOLF TIED FOR THIRD AFTER FIRST ROUND OF NCCAA CHAMPIONSHIP

Panama city Beach, FL – After day one of the NCCAA Championship, the men’s golf team sits in third place after an opening round team score or 305.


The Crusaders sit 11 shots back of team leader California Baptist (294) and eight shots behind second place Dallas Baptist (297).


In the individual standings, freshman Tucker MacDonald shot an opening round one-over par 73 to finish the day tied for 7th place. Freshman Joshua Hopwood had his best round of the season as he shot a two-over par 74 to finish he day tied for 10th, while Chancen Blackwood and Danny Dippel shot identical seven-over par scores of 79 to finish the day tied for 40th place.
