Crusaders One Shot Back In NGU Fall Classic After Day One
Tigerville, SC - Beneath near perfect skies, the North Greenville men's golf team shot an opening round 296 to finish the day one shot behind tournament leader King College at Cherokee Valley Golf Club on Monday afternoon.

North Greenville freshman Tucker MacDonald played stellar in his first collegiate match finishing day one atop the individual standings with a 77 to lead all golfers. North Greenville's Josh O'Neal fiished day one in second place after an opening round 72 left him one shot off the lead. The Crusaders placed two more players inside the top 20 as Sam Goodnight finished with a 76 and Chancen Blackwood shot a 77. The lone member of the North Greenville B team in the top 20 after day one is Jacob Harris after shooting an opening 77.

Other scores of note for North Greenville are Danny Dippel who is currently in 28th place after shooting an 85 to open the tournament. Other North Greenville B Team members include Austin Green, who is tied for 25th with an 82, Trey Laws, who is tied for 30th with an 88, Niles Reinhardt, who is in 32nd after an 89 and Richie Cardillo who is 33rd after a 91.
