MEN'S GOLF STRUGGLES IN FINAL ROUND OF RENDLEMAN

Salisbury, N.C. – The North Greenville men’s golf team struggled to a 15th place finish at the Richard Rendleman Invitational at the Country Club of Salisbury Tuesday afternoon.


The Crusaders dropped two places with a final round 328 to go with a first round 309 for a 637 score.


Senior Andrew Beck finished with a 72-81-153 for 37th, while Josh O’Neal was 76-84-160 (63rd), Harrison Martin shot 78-82-160 (63rd), Danny Dippel wen 84-81-165 (79th), and Austin Green shot 83-86-169 (87th).


UNC Pembroke won the event with a 292-289-581, six shots ahead of second place Belmont Abbey.


Coach Jeff Pittillo’s Crusaders will get back in action at the Holiday Day Inn Express Barton College Intercollegiate March 14-15 in Wilson, N.C.
