CRUSADERS PLACE SECOND AT OUTBACK INVITATIONAL

Panama City Beach, Fla.— North Greenville golf team looked to make a push for first place during the final two rounds of the Outback Invitational at Hombre Golf Club but fell 20 strokes short coming in second place shooting a 600.

Flagler College out of St. Augustine Florida came away with the tournament trophy shooting a total of 580. Individually for NGU Brad Caldwell shot a 72 and a 74, Brandon Coggins shot a 76 and a 72, Richard Smith shot a 76 and a 75, Danny Dippel shot a 87 and 79, and Andrew Beck Shot a 76 and an 81.
Caldwell and Coggins both finished in the top 10 for the Crusaders. Caldwell finished in third and Coggins finished in a tie for sixth. The Crusader golf team will take a one month break before competing in the Richard Rendelman Invitational in Salisbury, North Carolina on March 1-2.
