CRUSADERS FINISH FIRST DAY IN 4TH AT NCCAA NATIONAL TOURNAMENT

West Palm Beach, Fl.—
Less than a month after it’s last tournament, the North Greenville University golf team traveled down to West Palm Beach, Florida to take part in the National Christian Collegiate Association (NCCAA) National Golf Tournament.

The Crusaders faired well after the first day of play finishing in 4th place with a team total 306, 19 strokes behind tournament leader Colorado Christian.
The leader for the Crusaders is Brandon Coggins who finished the day tied for 8th place with a score of 74. Also for North Greenville Brad Caldwell shot a 1st day 76, Andrew Beck shot a first day 77, Danny Dipple shot a first day 79 and Harrison Martin shot a first day 91. “We didn’t play as well as we wanted to” said head coach Jeff Pittillo, “We know we are better than our scores show we just have to show it on Tuesday.” The Crusaders will tee off the second day of the National Tournament Tuesday around 8 am.
