North Greenville hosts BMW Collegiate

TIGERVILLE, SCóSoutheastern University shot a team score of 304 to hold a one-stroke lead after the opening round of the BMW Collegiate held at the par-72 Cherokee Valley Golf Club. Second round action will begin Tuesday morning.

Anderson University is a close second at 305, while Limestone College (312), Cape Fear Community College (314), and the University of Mobile (314) round out the top five.

Cape Fearís Steven Brame shot the low round of the day with a 69 to lead the pack. Matt Parzaile (Southeastern) is one-stroke back at 70. Kurt Owings (Anderson) currently occupies the third slot, while there is a three-way tie at fourth between Adam Sheriff (Anderson), Brad Williams (Limestone), and Nate Mosby (Southeastern), who all shot 73.

Host North Greenville University has two players in the top 20. Brandon Coggins is in a tie for tenth place with an opening-round 76, while Harrison Martinís 77 puts him in a tie for 14th. The Crusaders shot 316 as a team and are currently tied for seventh place.
