Crusader golf two shots out of first at National Tournament

The North Greenville University men's golf team is tied for second place after one round at the National Christian College Athletic Association National Tournament. The Crusaders shot 298 as team to put them two shots behind Southeastern College. Blake Hoover and Kevin Yancar led the Crusaders with scores of 73. Matthew Bayliff shot 74 and Michael Gault shot 75. Brian McCall and Bo Ream rounded out the scoring for North Greenville, shooting 76 and 80 respectively.

The Crusaders are tied with Indiana Weslyan for second place. Bethel College currently sits in third place with a team score of 302. Cedarville University and Northland Baptist Bible College are tied for fourth with scores of 304. The Crusaders tee-off Tuesday morning for the second round of the NCCAA National Tournament.
