Charleston, S.C.—Ahmad Nesbitt posted the top overall time out of 75 runners, pacing NGU as the Crusaders finished the Will Wilson Citadel Invitational as the top non Division I school, with a team average 28:51.
The Crusaders finished 26th overall, including Division I schools. Nesbitt finished the day running a 26:06, 48 seconds faster than the next closest finisher from Citadel who clocked in at a 26:54. It is his first overall pole position finish of the season.
North Greenville finished first out of five Division II schools. The Crusaders had two other runners finish in the top 25 as Ravon Wamer and Jordan Ferguson who finished in the 16th and 19th spots. Wamer finished with a time of 28:47 while Ferguson was just behind with a 29:09.
Dylan Anderson and Jacob Grigg finished back to back in 27th and 28th with times of 30:05 and 30:07. Kevin Clark and Tre’ Black brought closed out the NGU finishers with 31st and 40th place finishes out of 75 total runners.
The Crusaders will take a week off before hitting the trail again on October 11th when the travel to Royals Challenge in Charlotte, North Carolina.
