NESBITT PACES NGU EN ROUTE TO FIRST PLACE FINISH IN CHARLESTON

Charleston, S.C.—Ahmad Nesbitt and Brett Morely continued their impressive run through the 2013 cross country season on Saturday, posting a 1-2 finish, while also ensuring NGU’s third consecutive first place finish of the year at the Will Wilson Citadel Invitational.

Nesbitt finished first overall among division I and division II runners with a total time of 25:51,  11 seconds ahead of Morely who finished with a time of 26:02. Will Belue rounded out the top 25 with a time of 29:20. The Crusaders finished with a team time of 28:02, a full minute and 37 seconds ahead of second place finisher Erskine College.

The Crusaders next race is scheduled for October 5th, when NGU travels to Concord, North Carolina to take part in the Conference Carolinas Preview race. Complete results for the NGU men’s team are listed below:
