North Greenville University head coach Micah Sepko has released the men’s and women’s cross country schedule for 2010. The Crusaders will participate in five meets this season.
The Crusaders will have their season-opener taking place in Erskine College, on Saturday, Sept. 11. “We are excited about our 2010 cross country schedule,” said Sepko. “This year’s schedule will provide us some early season challenges that will help prepare us for the main challenge of the schedule, which is the NCAA Regional Championship.”
North Greenville starts this season with only three women from last season and seven newcomers, which make the team new with great chance to show its new talents at the races. The men’s team will feature several newcomers and six of their top seven men from last season.
The Crusaders will have two weeks after the Erskine Invitational to prepare for their second race at Citadel Invitational, which will be held at James Island County Park on Saturday, September 25.
The following Saturday, October 1, the Crusaders will travel for the afternoon race at Charlotte, NC to participate in the UNC Charlotte Invitational. The race will be held at McAlpine Creek Park on Saturday at 4:00pm.
The Crusaders will come travel to Charlotte, NC two weeks after for the Queens Invitational. This year the event will be held at McAlpine Creek Park, and will be hosted by Queens University of Charlotte.
The last race for North Greenville University both men’s and women’s cross-country team will be held at Southside Park in Newton, NC and will be hosted by Lenoir-Rhyne University.
