CRUSADERS XC TEAM RUNS STRONG AT PC INVITITATIONAL

Paced by the third place finish of junior Samuel Romas, the Crusader men’s cross country team finished in third place at the Presbyterian College Invitational Saturday in Clinton, SC. 

Romas, from Irmo, SC ran a personal best 28:37 for the 8K race.  James Lind finished in 9th place with a 30:27 time. 
“Our men’s team showed a lot of improvement this past weekend,” Head Coach Micah Sepko said.  “We ran in a Division I race and were very competitive with some good teams.  I was also encouraged by the way the women ran.  We’ll keep getting better and better as the season progresses.
The NGU harriers will run at the Furman Invitational Saturday, Oct. 11.
