Men's Cross Country competes in Eye Opener meet

SPARTANBURG, SC--North Greenville University's men's cross country team opened up the 2007 season at the Eye Opener meet hosted by USC-Upstate. The Crusaders finished 14th with a team score of 391.

Anderson University won the meet with a team score of 84, with Lenoir-Rhyne, Spartanburg Methodist, St. Andrews Presbyterian, and Lees-McRae rounding out the top five.

Samuel Ramos was the top finisher for the Crusaders, finishing the 8K race in 30:00.

Milligan's Benjamin Rono took the individual honors with a time of 25:35.
