NGU Drops Exhibitions at Furman and Wofford

North Greenville completed a series of exhbitions on the road, resulting in a 90-65 loss to the Paladins of Furman University in Greenville, SC and a 112-66 loss to the Wofford Terriers in Spartanburg, SC.

Furman turned to the three point line in the first half, opening up a 32 point lead at the half. NGU did improve in the second half with a .486 field goal percentage to outscore the Paladins 45-38. Jalon Cokley led North Greenville in points with 16.

Like the Paladins, Wofford opened up a large lead in the first half to go into halftime with a 64-31. Once again the Crusaders improved in the second half, but the Terriers would open up their lead in the second half to ultimately win by 46 points.

NGU will return to action in 2020 to take on the Emmanuel College Lions in Franklin Springs, Georgia on January 2nd.
