Tigerville, SC - North Greenville fell to the Mount Olive Trojans with a final score of 70-65. The Crusaders led 31-26 at halftime, but were outscored 44-34 in the second half. Ryan Mobley had a solid performance with sixteen points.
The Crusaders pulled ahead early to lead 10-4. UMO worked to cut the lead to three, but a 7-3 run by NGU opened the lead back up to seven points and would eventually lead by as much as eight later in the half. The two teams would go into halftime with North Greenville leading 31-26. NGU shot 41.2% from the field for the half with Roderick Howell leading in points with eight.
Mount Olive started the second half on a roll as they would put together a 13-2 run to take the lead with a score of 39-33. North Greenville would stop the bleeding and eventually take the lead back with a three-pointer by Caleb Arrington to lead 49-47. A 7-2 run by the Trojans would allow them to lead by seven. In the final minute, North Greenville cut the deficit down to three points, but were unable to take the lead back. NGU posted a 52.5 shot percentage in the second half. Ryan Mobley led with nine points in the half.
