Tigerville, SC - Join us in welcoming Miguel Cartagena Reyes from Aibonito, Puerto Rico to the NGU basketball family. Miguel signed with George Washington University out of high school where he played in 32 games which included an NCAA tournament appearance in the 2013-2014 season.

Prior to George Washington, Miguel enjoyed a decorated high school career at Montverde Academy (FL). He averaged 13.1 ppg, 3.0 rpg, and 4.0 apg for a loaded Montverde team who won the High School National Championship in 2013. He was also named All-Florida second team that year while graduating Summa Cum Laude.

Cartagena Reyes spent the 2014-2015 year at College of Central Florida before joining our basketball family. Miguel is a biology major with aspiration of continuing his education in a Physician Assistant program post graduation.

Miguel on North Greenville: "I chose NGU because it is a winning program. The academics are good…I thought it was the best place for me to finish my college career. I'm excited about our season and the rest of my career."
