Tigerville, SC - Coach Lister and his staff are excited to announce the signing of Daniel Burchette, a 6'3" guard from North Buncombe High School in Weaverville, North Carolina.

Daniel comes to North Greenville with an accomplished prep career playing under Coach Joey Bryson. As a senior he was voted Citizen-Times All WNC Player of the Year, MAC Conference Player of the Year, and District Player of the Year. He was also named to the NC Preps 3A All State team while filling up the stat sheet by averaging 22.2 ppg, 5.7 rpg, 3.2 spg, and 2.8 apg in his final season at North Buncombe.

Burchette finished his career as a 3-time All-Conference and All-WNC player and a 2-time All-District player. He left North Buncombe as the all-time leading scorer in school history with 1,947 career points.

Coach Lister on Daniel: "Daniel will have a great career at NGU. He is a proven scorer, but does so much more. Coach Bryson has done a great job getting Daniel ready and we expect a smooth transition into our system."
