Tigerville, SC – Former Crusader basketball standout Tyshawn Patterson has been added to the roster for Club Ferroviario da Beira, a member of the African League.
Club Ferroviario da Beira recently claimed the African League’s Mozambique League title and has been invited to compete in the National Tournament of the African Games along with other top team’s throughout Africa.
After transferring from Stetson University, Patterson spent his senior season as a Crusader, leading North Greenville as the team’s top offensive weapon. Patterson was honored as a member of the 2013 Conference Carolinas Second Team All-Conference after averaging a school record 23.8 points per game, leading North Greenville in scoring in 21 of the 26 games played.
Patterson shot 45.8 percent from the floor, including 30.1 percent from three-point range while recording a 77.1 free-throw percentage. The Orlando, FL native filled up the stat sheet on a nightly basis, averaging 4.2 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 2.2 steals per contest.
